If you’re looking for a low-key way to make a big impact on your space, try incorporating a rug. They’re small-space friendly, fit a wide range of budgets, and can be as bold or subtle as you prefer. One fantastic place to shop for rugs, no matter what style you’re after, is Ruggable. The popular washable-rug brand makes a variety of styles, from simple bath mats to plush shag area rugs, and has collaborated with the likes of interior decorator Jonathan Adler, illustrator Monica Ahanonu, Disney, and more. And now, legendary fashion designer Anna Sui has joined the ranks of Ruggable’s amazing collaborators with a collection of rugs and doormats meant to inspire whimsy. The machine-washable pieces sport bold patterns and borders, with maximalist flair, eye-catching colors, dreamy motifs, and runway style. Here are 10 editor favorites from the Anna Sui x Ruggable collaboration, and you can shop the full collection here.

Inspired by Anna Sui's folklore-influenced collection of 2015, the Sundborn Castleton Rug makes a statement with florals. It features a stunning frame of floral motifs in teal, yellow, and purple, which contrast its solid dark green base. The rug is also available in Cream.

The stylish Roses Are Red Doormat alludes to Sui's 2022 Resort Collection and Wiener Werkstätte prints. The doormat mixes vibrant red roses and dark plaid for contrasting style, adding a whimsical butterfly detail that nearly catches you by surprise.

The Lady Shalott Rug gets its namesake from the 19th-century Tennyson poem "Lady of Shalott," and the pattern was first spotted in Sui's Spring 2014 fashion collection. It features an eccentric mirrored pattern in coral and green on a cream background, but if you prefer a darker color palette, the rug is also available in Navy.

A vivid pop of color meets charming florals in this fuchsia doormat designed by Anna Sui. It pulls from the designer's imaginative 2021 fashion collection to create this playful Pop Floral doormat that features hand-drawn flowers and shapes. A subtler color scheme is also available.

Add some drama to your space with the dark and romantic Lilies and Lace Lavender Rug that's inspired by 1960's rock stars. The design was first seen on Sui's Spring 2015 runway and showcases a fantastical pattern of black lace and florals against a purple background.

Bring a gorgeous garden stroll to your front door with the Garden Golden Sunrise Doormat. Reminiscent of a home in Sui's youth, its cheery design features blooming flowers in orange and pink. Check it out in cooler tones, too.

The energetic Sullivan Rug takes inspiration from stained-glass windows, which is ironic given that it's made from durable low-pile Chenille that's resistant to water and stains. The fun design comes in navy, reds, and cream. For a warmer take, give Citrus a look.

The dynamic Bordered Bouquet Doormat gets its edge from Sui's Fall 2014 collection, which was inspired by Eastern European head scarves. The boldly contrasted rug sports pinks, blue, and cream on a black background.

It doesn't get more romantic than the Vintage Rose Art Nouveau Rug, a dreamy design that was first spotted in Sui's English Pre-Raphaelite art-inspired collection of Spring 2015. This darling piece features art-nouveau flowers in blush on cream, or you can go for the blues and greens of the Sagebrush area rug.

The oh-so-boho Belle Epoche Rug gets its look from the designer's Fall 2009 collection, which was inspired by the Belle Époque period. The dark, bold rug has a repeating pattern in cool hues like turquoise, electric blue, and purple, with a beautifully intricate border. The rug is also available in Charcoal & Lavender for a different aesthetic.
