Ganesh Utsav is an important festival of our country. This year Ganesh Chaturthi will be on Wednesday, August 31. On this day Ganesha will be worshiped and established in every household. Today we have brought for the readers of “Webdunia” the complete simple worship method of establishing Ganesha, so that they can worship and establish Ganesha themselves in their own homes.

Worship material- Idol of Ganesh ji (clay, gold, silver, brass, mercury), turmeric, kumkum, akshat (rice without broken), betel nut, vermilion, gulal, ashtagandha, thread pair, clothes, molly, betel nut, clove, cardamom, betel , Durva, Panchmeva, Panchamrit, Gaudug, Curd, Honey, Cow’s Ghee, Sugar, Jaggery, Modak, Fruit, Narmadajal/Gangajal, Flowers, Garland, Kalash, Sarvoshadhi, Mango leaves, Banana leaves, Rose water, Perfume, Incense sticks , lamp-wick, coin, quince (coconut)

Complete worship method According to the auspicious Choghadiya on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, arrange the above material and collect it in your worship room. Now first of all, place the Ganesh idol on a post by giving a seat of banana leaves or Durva. While worshiping, keep your face towards North or East. Light a ghee lamp.

sanctification-It is necessary to be pure and pure before performing any worship. For sanctification, take water in your left, cover it with the right and sprinkle it on yourself and all the worship materials with the following mantra.

mantra impure: pure or sarvavasam gatopi va.

y: smereta pundarikasam sa bahyaabhyantar shuchi:॥

Now from Aachmani to Aachmani by reciting the following mantra of water thrice.

for hand washing Wash your hands by saying “Om Govinda Namo Namah” thrice “Pundrikaksham Punatuah”. After hand washing, wear a tilak of kumkum or sandalwood on your hair.

To worship the lamp, put turmeric, kumkum, vermilion in a flower with water and Ashtagandha and offer it in front of the lamp with the following mantra-

Deepo Jyoti: Parabrahma Deepo Jyotirjanardan:.

Deepo Hartu Mein Papam Deep Jyoti Namostute॥

For the resolution, take a flower, akshat, betel nut and coin in your left hand and put a achmani water in it and say the following resolution-

ॐ विष्णुर्विष्णुर्विष्णु: श्रीमदभगवतो महापुरूषस्य विष्णोराज्ञया प्रवर्तमानस्य ब्रह्मणोऽह्रि द्वितीयपरार्धे श्रीश्वेतवाराहकल्पे वैवस्वत्मन्वन्तरे अष्टाविंशतितमे कलियुगे कलिप्रथमचरणे जम्बूद्वीपे भारतवर्षे आर्यावर्तैकदेशे अमुक/ अमुक के स्थान पर अपने निवासरत नगर का उच्चारण करें) नगरे/ग्राम 2079 वैक्रमाब्दे राक्षस नाम संवत्सरे भाद्रपद मासे शुक्ल पक्षे चतुर्थी तिथौ बुधवासरे प्रात:/अपरान्ह/ Mid-day/evening “Amuk” (pronounce your gotra in place of amuk) Gotra:….Sharma/Verma/Gupta: Shri Ganesha Devta Preityarth Puja Establishment Karma Aham Karishye.

Saying the above resolution, offer all the material of the hand in front of Ganesha at his feet and offer a achmani water on it.

For the meditation of Ganesha, take a flower in your right and fold both the hands and chant the following mantra and offer the flower in front of Ganesha-

“Gajananam Bhutaganadisevatam Kapitthajambufalcharubhakshanam. Umasutam shokvinashkaram namami vighneshwarpadapankajam

For Gauriji’s meditation, take a flower in your right, fold both hands and recite the following mantra and offer the flower in front of Gauriji-

Namo devyai mahadevyai shivayi sathtam namah.

Namah Prakrityai Bhadrayai Niyata: Pranata: Smtam.

For invocation, take Akshat in your left hand and mix Haridra (turmeric) in it, after that pick up one Akshat from your right hand and offer it in front of Shri Ganesh ji with the following mantra-

For the life of Lord Ganesha, apply ghee in a durva and while touching the idol of Ganesha, chant the following mantra-

“Asya Pranaah Pratisthantu Asai Prana: Ksharantu Ch.

Asai Devatvamarchayai Mamaheti Cha Kaschan Ganeshambike Supratisthite Varde Bhavetam.

After meditation, a flower, Durva and Akshat for the seat of Shri Ganeshji and Gauriji. “Reputably asanarthe akshatan samparpayami ganeshambikabhayam namah” Offer it in front of Ganeshji and Gauriji by speaking.

Offer a achmani water in front of Ganeshji and Gauriji to wash the feet of Shri Ganeshji and Gauriji.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, padyam arghyam samparpayami samarpayami.”

First of all, bathe Ganesha with pure water.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, sudhodakasnanam samparpayami.”

Now after setting the movable Deity of Ganesha in a big plate, chanting the following mantra to Ganesha Take bath with cow milk

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, payah snanam samparpayami.”

After bathing with cow’s milk, bathe Ganesha with milk-

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, dadhisnanam samparpayami.”

After bathing with Dadhi, bathe Ganesha with Gaughrit.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, ghritasnanam samparpayami.”

After bathing with Gaughrit, bathe Ganesha with honey.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, ghritasnanam samparpayami.”

After bathing with honey, bathe Ganesha with sugar.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, sarkarsnanam samparpayami.”

After bathing with sugar, bathe Ganesha with Panchamrit.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, panchamritsnanam samparpayami.”

Bathing again with pure water-

After bathing with Panchamrit, bathe Ganesha with pure water.

Mantra- “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, sudhodakasnanam samparpayami.”

Now offer a achmani water in front of Ganesh ji while reciting the following mantra-

Now while reciting “Atharvashirsha” to Ganesh ji, anoint him with cow’s milk. After consecration, after bathing again with pure water, adorn the idol of Ganesh ji by placing it in a throne or pavilion.

After bathing with pure water, make Ganesha wear clothes, clothes, ornaments and janeu.

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, vasram samparpayami.”

After makeup, apply sandalwood and vermilion to Ganesha.

mantra-“Srikhandam Chandanam Divyam Gandhadayam Sumanoharam. Vilepanam Surashreshtha Chandanam Pratigrihatam

“Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, chandanulepanam samparpayami.”

Now worship Ganesha with akshat, vermilion, gulal, bhodar etc.

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, nanaparimaldravyani samparpayami.”

Now offer flowers and wreaths to Ganesh ji-

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, pushpamalaam samparpayami.”

Now offer Durva to Ganesha.

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, durvankuran samparpayami.”

Now apply perfume to Ganesha-

Mantra – “Om Bhurbhuva: Self: Ganeshambikabhayam Namah, Sugandhidravyam Samarpayami.”

Now offer the fragrance of incense to Ganesha.

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, dhupamaghrapayami samparpayami.”

Now offer a lamp to Ganeshji-

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah swah ganeshambikabhayam namah, deepam samparpayami.”

Now after doing the handwashing (wash your hands), offer Naivedya (by keeping Durva, jaggery and modak in the bhog) to Ganeshji-Om Pranaya Swaha, Om Apanaya Swaha, Om Samanaya Swaha, Om Udanaya Swaha, Om Vyanaya Swaha, Om Amrutapidhanamsi Swaha.

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah self: ganeshambikabhayam namah, naivedyam nivedayami.”

After offering Naivedya, offer the season fruit to Ganesha.

Mantra – “Om Bhurbhuva: Self: Ganeshambikabhayam Namah, Ritufalani Nivedayami.”

Now offer tambool to Ganesha with cloves and cardamom.

Mantra – “Om bhurbhuvah svah ganeshambikabhayam namah, mukhavasartham elalavang-pungifalshitam tamboolam samparpayami.”

Now offer Dakshina along with Shriphal to Ganeshji as much as you can.

Mantra – “Om Bhurbhuva: Self: Ganeshambikabhayam Namah, Kritaya: Pujaya: Dravyadakshinam Samarpayami.”

Now perform the aarti of Ganeshji.

Now taking flowers and Akshat in hand, pray for forgiveness from the humble gesture of the mistake made in worship-

Ten sarvena sarvatma pleasedtu always mama

said mantra- After speaking, offer the flowers and Akshat in your hand in front of Ganesh ji and do prostrate bowing.

Now leave a achmani water under your seat and do the worship by applying that water to your eyes.

Auspicious time for the establishment of Ganesha-

2. In the afternoon – 11:00 am to 12:15 min. middle of

3. Evening – 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. middle of

4. Night – Between 8:00 am to 11:00 pm
